PAYMENT POLICIES:
Katy The K9 Keeper accepts payment in cash, check, & Venmo. If you would like to use your American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa, the 4% processing fee will be added to the total charge.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
We have a three-day cancellation policy; i.e., if cancellation is received less than 72 hours in advance, the deposit is not refunded. The cancellation policy for peak periods is ten days else the deposit becomes nonrefundable (details under PEAK PERIODS explanation). Cancellations during PEAK stay of 24 hours or less —> family is responsible for 50% booked stay balance (ex: 4 full days at PEAK with 52lb dog = $240 —> family is responsible for $120 due to 24 hour or less cancellation) — collected deposit does go towards this policy. Deposits are non-transferable if not within the cancellation guidelines.
DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
Katy The K9 Keeper accepts a maximum of fifteen friends at any time. Reservations are made on a first come first serve basis with CONFIRMATION. We require a $25 deposit per dog when a reservation is made during non-peak periods. In order to receive a deposit refund in the event of a cancellation, KTK9K has a 72 hour cancellation policy for non-peak stays. Bookings are ONLY guaranteed once deposit is confirmed by KTK9K - please do not assume otherwise if you’ve not received CONFIRMATION email/text.
PEAK PERIODS:
For peak periods the deposit is $75 per dog with a 10 day cancellation notice. Please note, prices for your pet's stay will also increase by $5 per day - REMINDER: Cancellation’s of 24 hours or less —> family is responsible for 50% booked stay balance (ex: 4 full days at PEAK with 52lb dog = $240 —> family is responsible for $120 due to 24 hour or less cancellation) — collected deposit does go towards this policy.
Need to alter/make changes to your reservation during your stay dates in a peak period? We ask that you notify us of any date altering/changes 7 days prior to original drop off date to avoid any LATE CHANGE CHARGES (subject to change based off length of booking-starting at $50) - this allows KTK9K to contact and allow for waitlisted families to join the pack on any opening days. We cannot guarantee the ability to extend your stay during peak seasons, but will always do our best to accommodate you.

Holidays/Holiday Weekends: Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, MLK Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Veteran's Day. Additionally, peak periods include school Spring Break and Fall Break weeks, the week before and after Thanksgiving, and the last two weeks of the year.
The cancellation period for peak periods is TEN days else the deposit becomes nonrefundable.
